The Freshy Awards honor individuals or organizations who have diligently fought for food justice in the past year.

We want to continue to broaden our recognition of dedication and hard work so it is our desire to welcome nominations for a wide range of actions. Please consider the intersectional ways that food justice is fought for within other movement work and how your college campus, your mutual aid coordinator, or other people in your life have contributed to increasing food access in your community.

Using the form below, Nourish California will collect information about each nominee to develop a voting ballot. Based on your votes, the Freshy Award winners will be announced at the 2025 CalFresh Forum.
